Ballarat Office specialises in the preparation of tours for Club groups to places such as Adelaide, Cobar / Burke, Tasmania, Queensland, Alice Springs and Canberra. Ballarat also prepares Mary MacKillop Pilgrimages for the Sisters of St Joseph.
The National MacKillop Pilgrimage (Conducted in October or November each year) These Pilgrimages cover three States over 11 days and take in sites of significance in Mary’s life including Melbourne, Mary’s Birthplace, Hamilton, Alexanders Grave, Portland Church and School, the MacKillop Centre Penola, the Old Schoolhouse, Church, Mass, visit to Fr Woods tree, the Adelaide and Morphett Vale sites of the imposition and lifting of the Excommunication, Mary MacKillop Place in North Sydney, touring of significant places around Sydney and finishing at Mary’s Tomb at Mount Street. A most personally satisfying and rewarding journey where your fare includes all airfares, meals, accommodation, Coach Transport and admissions. Normally three Josephite Sisters accompany these Pilgrimages as Organisers/Directors.
