FACILITIES

A classic home retaining most of its original features from the Victorian era.  Three bedrooms, main with original pressed steel ceiling and half tester Queen sized brass bed.  Bedroom two has a Queen sized Brass bed and bedroom 3 has two single brass beds.  An additional "Trundle"   bed is also available in the study although the house is licenced for a maximum of 6 people – plus a fold-down couch.

A charming period lounge room with impressive high ceilings, bay windows, an 1894 Pedal Organ and a Coonara wood fire place is available plus study and pantry.   

Modern features include central gas heating, Blackwood timber kitchen, double spa bath, electric blankets, off street lockup garage parking, CD, DVD and Video Player, Radio, 2 Television Sets, Microwave Oven, Dishwasher, Modern Laundry, Telephone and enclosed courtyard with B-B-Q.  In the study there is an XP Computer with Broadband access for those with their own laptop computer.  The study also house a collection of approximately 600 books covering a wide range of subjects.

Although Health department regulations dictate that, (unless registered Seeing Eye Dogs or similar), pets are not permitted in the house, the fully fenced rear yard does lend itself to short term accommodation of pets.

At Harrowfield House you will be able to relax in a tranquil old world environment free from outside disturbances – you will be fully self-contained and the only people living on the property during your stay.

Breakfast can be supplied from a selection of cereals, fruit juices, bread and condiments in a Breakfast Basket or you may prefer to bring your own breakfast at a reduced tariff.
