"CHARTER FOR SAFE TRAVEL" Cardigan Touring Services is a partner in the "Charter for Safe Travel" set up as a joint initiative between the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and the Australian Travel Industry through A.F.T.A. – the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.
Under this charter, operators commit to providing travellers, particularly people travelling overseas , with DFAT travel advice and assisting travellers to make safe and informed decisions relating to their travel options. To this end Cardigan Lodge and Cardigan Touring Services can assist by sourcing information on such items as –
DFAT Consular Travel Advice. Travel Insurance Pre-departure preparations. Safe Travel Tips.
Much of this information is now available direct to travellers via the DFAT website at www.dfat.gov.au/travel where DFAT has recently instituted a "Travel Advice Explained FAQ" page. If you have trouble accessing the DFAT info please contact us via our "Enquiry Form" and we will endeavour to supply the information you are seeking.
